Applications will be considered from NHS staff, those in the pharmaceutical industry and others who wish to develop their skills and experience in research. Academic clinical fellows at BSMS will be accepted automatically on the course.
Months of entry
The course has been designed to develop future research leaders who are able to complete a PhD, conduct independent research and be future principle investigators. Aimed at doctors, academic clinical trainees and other researchers across a range of fields. Robust education and training is provided in quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis methods.
Students will engage with a research project at a very early stage and will gain autonomy in research project management and governance. There is an opportunity to learn through teaching on the chosen topic, particularly if the research topic focuses-on education.
