Degree and/or experience
Normally a good honours degree or equivalent is required. Work experience is useful but not essential. Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications will be considered. If you are unsure whether you meet the entry requirements then please contact us.

Course content
Our CIM-accredited Marketing MSc develops your understanding of marketing from a strategic perspective, with specialisms available in digital marketing, branding and communications, social marketing and international marketing.
This programme is ideal for those seeking to launch a career in marketing, as well as those looking to further progress their knowledge.
On the course, you will learn both theory and practice of marketing at an advanced level, providing you with an in-depth, critical understanding of research methodologies, and marketing planning and strategy.
You will gain practical experience from live projects, critically analysing and developing strategies for real clients. This commercial marketing experience will give you a head start when entering the jobs market.
At the end of the first term, you will also have the option to specialise in one of four areas, or to stay with the Marketing MSc.

For non-native speakers of English
In order to benefit from, contribute to and enjoy the course, a good command of spoken and written English language is required. If English is not your first language, you will need English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of at least 6.5 and a minimum of 5.5 in the other elements.
International students whose language skills do not match the IELTS scores set out here should consider applying for this course through the Extended Masters programme at the university's Language Institute.
