Our (Secondary) English PGCE leads to the award of Qualified Teacher Status with enrichment opportunities to teach age 16–18.
We will equip you with the skills and knowledge to become a confident and competent English teacher.

You may be asked at interview to complete a Subject Knowledge Enhancement course if your degree isn’t in this subject area, or you have relevant professional experience but need to learn how to apply that to teaching.
You could be eligible for a £15,000 bursary if starting this course in 2023.
