Course content
This innovative distance-learning programme provides a comprehensive theoretical foundation in the areas of human reproduction and development. The programme is designed to appeal to a wide range of postgraduate students, including scientists, nurses and clinicians.
You will study the physiological basis of gamete formation, fertilisation, implantation and pregnancy, and their endocrine control as well as the clinical management of infertility, assisted conception technologies and the diagnosis and management of common fetal abnormalities.
Residential workshops will be held in Bristol, comprising lectures and seminars, as well as case-based group work, practical sessions and assessments. Each distance-learning unit comprises online tutorials and lectures, which are assessed by essays and online questions.
