Course content

Neuroscience seeks to understand the most complex structure in the known universe - the brain. This unique postgraduate programme is a one-year research project, allowing you to gain in-depth knowledge of your chosen research topic, develop independent research skills and your ability to work as part of a team. You will select a project drawn from a pool of world-leading experts with interests ranging from the molecular biology of synapses to behavioural studies of cognition.

The programme provides a key transition from undergraduate to postgraduate study, providing an excellent foundation if you are considering applying for a PhD in neuroscience or other life science disciplines.
