Entry requirements

Applicants will normally be expected to hold an appropriate first degree with a minimum of lower second class honours or equivalent. Alternatively, a minimum of two years’ work experience, usually in a position of substantial responsibility within the field of Project Management, Business Management, Information Systems or similar may be considered.

Course content

The University of Chester offers a unique opportunity to study Programme and Project Management - including PRINCE2®, Management of Risk® and P3O® - with a UK Cabinet Office (CO) Accredited Training Organisation (ATO). These qualifications are validated and rigorously assessed annually by the external body, APMG - an agent of the OGC.

The MSc will take students beyond the OGC qualifications to build confidence in running complex peojects within their organisation.
