Our internationally recognised research is at the heart of our degrees, and as a postgraduate student at the University of Exeter, your learning will be shaped by the very latest theories, breakthroughs, and developments in your field of study. Whether you’re based at our Streatham, St Luke’s, Truro, or Penryn Campus, you will have access to cutting-edge teaching, research and learning facilities to help you make the most of your studies, ranging from dedicated digital humanities laboratories to sector-leading sports science technology and our bespoke Renewable Energy Engineering Facility. You will also have access to our dedicated network of campus libraries, which are open 24/7 during term time and boast a collection of over 2.2 million book, e-books, databases, and digital archives.

We are continuously investing in our campuses and facilities. Recent and upcoming developments include state-of-the-art computer science teaching labs, entrepreneurial makerspaces, and a dedicated space for new media development technology.

Funding and scholarships for postgraduate taught students

We offer a range of scholarships and funding options to support you during your postgraduate studies. UK students can apply for a government postgraduate loan, while international students may be eligible for awards such as our Exeter Excellence Scholarships and country-specific schemes.

Based in the beautiful coastal region of Devon and Cornwall, our picturesque campuses combine green spaces, historical buildings and cutting-edge facilities, creating the perfect environment for your degree.
Our Streatham and St Luke’s campuses are within the charming city of Exeter. Only 2.5 hours by train from London and easily to get around on foot, the location offers the best of all worlds – the friendly and secure atmosphere of a campus university within a 20-minute walk of the city centre; beaches and countryside on your doorstep without sacrificing nightlife, culture or easy access to other UK cities. Our Penryn Campus in Cornwall is famous for its welcoming community and unrivalled location: the region’s stunning coastline and infamous beaches create a truly idyllic place to live and study.

Our student community is one of the greatest highlights of studying at Exeter. Home to around 30,000 students from 150 countries, our campuses are vibrant, inclusive spaces where learners from all backgrounds come together.
