Entry requirements
We will consider applicants with a 2:2 Honours degree or above (or equivalent). There’s no requirement to have studied law prior to joining the course, we welcome students from any academic background.
While we normally only consider applicants who meet this criteria, if you are coming from a different academic background which is equivalent to degree level, or have relevant work experience in legal or business professions, we would welcome your application.

- Acquire skills in the regulation and governance of technology and relevant policy-making, as well as the implications for and use of legal technology innovation in legal practice

To enhance your research and learning experience, and to create a vibrant community of postgraduate students enrolled on this programme, you will be affiliated with one of the Law School’s research centres for the duration of your programme. This will provide a forum where you can discuss your interests with fellow students and members of academic staff and receive constructive feedback on your ideas during in-class discussions (oral feedback), as well as following the completion of formative and summative assessments (written individualised feedback with oral feedback upon request).
