Entry requirements
We will consider applicants with a 2:2 Honours degree or above (or equivalent).There’s no requirement to have studied law or business prior to joining the course, we welcome students from any academic background.

- The LLM Law and Business is a formal Law degree, which can open the way into a law qualification
- Combines the delivery of legal and business education between the Exeter Law School and the Triple Accredited University of Exeter Business School

Studying a Master of Laws in Law and Business offers a rewarding learning experience with opportunities to for students from a non-law and non-business background to gain a firm grounding in a range of law and business topics, and to improve skills necessary at all levels of professional engagement with contemporary and future challenges facing businesses around the world. You will be encouraged to critically reflect on the contemporary legal and business challenges that exist in our globalised world while acquiring the solid legal skills required for your professionalisation.
You will take part in interactive seminars, thought-provoking discussions and critical debates with your peers and academics from across the world giving you unique insight and global perspectives into contemporary law.
Alongside the compulsory dissertation, you’ll choose from an array of optional modules across law and business.
In order to enhance your research and learning experiences and to create a vibrant community of postgraduate students enrolled in this programme, you will be affiliated with one of the research centres for the duration of your programme.
