Course content

This course will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills for engineering management to advance your career as a leader within a competitive international engineering environment.

The modules you will study include Leading Engineering Teams & Organizations, Financial Management for Engineers, Engineering Management Decisions and Statistics, Operation Research, Supply Chain Management, System Integration and System and Project Management. You will also complete an advanced research project. The course has been designed to create effective multi-disciplinary engineers who have acquired the necessary creative, technical, management and research skills to work within the broad spectrum of modern industry.

The course will develop your understanding of key aspects of engineering management and explore how they fit into the context of modern industrial sectors. The course will also provide you with opportunities to address the challenges, problems and solutions involved in engineering management.

You will have the chance to work both as an individual and as part of a team on an industrial engineering management project.

This course has been designed for students interested in developing their careers in both theoretical and practical areas of engineering management. It also prepares students wishing to continue their study to doctorial level research.
