Postgraduate study

Our postgraduate courses are informed by our research and taught by experts with international reputations for the quality of their work. Our flagship AMBA-accredited MBA attracts students from around the world who are looking to build the knowledge and skills to take the next step in their careers. Other taught Master’s courses explore a range of relevant and sought-after topics. We also offer conversion courses, specifically designed for non-business graduates who want to enhance their career prospects.

Kent Business School has an excellent record of graduate employment: we are 22nd for graduate careers after six months in The Guardian University Guide 2020. Our students are consistently targeted by leading international organisations and recent graduates of Kent Business School have gone on to work for top global companies, including Deloitte, Fujitsu Services Ltd, Pace Capital, City Sprint, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co and BP.

The graduate school runs a programme of skills training workshops and events specifically for postgraduates, and the Careers and Employability Service can provide personal careers advice at any stage of your studies.


The Sibson Building at Canterbury provides you with the ideal environment for you to achieve your full potential and gain the most from your studies. This RIBA award-winning state-of-the-art building offers spacious teaching facilities including executive seminar and lecture rooms, a dedicated MBA suite and access to excellent IT facilities and learning resources.

The School is conveniently located at the University of Kent’s campus, close to continental Europe and with easy access to London.

World-famous Canterbury Cathedral is situated in the heart of the historic city centre, just a 25-minute walk or short bus ride.


Kent Business School at Medway benefits from a range of first class facilities. The Sail and Colour Loft features digital classrooms, a Bloomberg suite, seminar rooms, a group learning room, a computer suite, quiet and general study areas, social spaces and a special reference collection of core textbooks.

The Medway campus has excellent transport links and is just 40-minutes by fast train from London.

The area is steeped in history and rich in maritime heritage with Rochester’s splendid castle and cathedral and The Historic Dockyard, Chatham.

You can apply for our postgraduate taught master’s courses via the online application process. Please ensure all supporting documents are submitted with your application form or scanned and emailed.
