Entry requirements

A first, 2.1 or good 2.2 honours degree (or equivalent) in computing or a related subject with a strong background in programming.

All applicants are considered on an individual basis and additional qualifications, professional qualifications and relevant experience may also be taken into account when considering applications.

Course content

The Computer Science (Cyber Security) conversion course will give you the opportunity to establish a foundation in cyber security from technical and multidisciplinary perspectives. This is a conversion course intended for graduates with little or no prior knowledge of computer science. This course includes an industrial placement of between eight and 50 weeks. This course is accredited by BCS (British Computer Society). The course partially meets the requirements for a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP).
