The normal entry requirement is a good degree, preferably with some economical and quantitative analysis, equivalent to a UK second class honours degree from a recognised university.

Course contentThis course is designed for students who wish to build a career in the business world and would like good preparation for the use of the analytical techniques of economics in business and finance. Students acquire the tools needed to understand the ways in which general macroeconomic performance impacts on business, and the ways in which economic analysis helps to understand business strategy and the workings of incentive schemes in business organisation and finance. On completion students are prepared for a wide variety of careers in management, the civil service and international organisations.
