Interaction and Experience Design
Entry requirements
A primary degree (Level 8 - National Qualifications Authority of Ireland) in any subject area, with first or second class honours. A portfolio of the applicant's own work that demonstrates the applicant's creative ability. This can be artwork, websites, software, writing, etc. Applicants may be called for an interview. The interview normally takes 20-30 minutes and includes a review of the applicants portfolio.

Course content
- Apply Interaction and Experience design theory to practice;
- Develop interactive multimedia projects that demonstrate an engagement with emerging computing paradigms;
- Direct and manage interaction and experience design development projects.
- Combine technical and design expertise to problem solving within their chosen career.
- Be fluent in a number of multimedia authoring software packages;
- Modify, read, and write basic code
- Employ human-centred and participatory design methods, techniques and tools
