Entry requirements
- Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honour, grade 2 (2:2) in a relevant or appropriate subject.
- The university may/will shortlist and invite you to an interview.

Course content
Equip yourself with the skills to address the critical human resource issues affecting modern organisations with UL’s one-year, full-time or two-year, part-time Master of Science in Human Resource Management.
Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), the programme focuses on the core knowledge and theory underpinning effective people management.
It covers managing conflict, creating environments for sustainable and decent work, talent management, learning and development, international and contemporary issues in HRM and employment relations.
The programme includes the opportunity for a dual degree through study for a second year at a choice of five universities in France.
During this programme, you will:
- Explore the multiple challenges facing HR professionals in an increasingly complex environment.
- Gain an understanding of the core knowledge and theory underpinning effective people management.
- Focus on the strategic, international and sustainability concerns of the HR function in contemporary organisations.
- Acquire the skills and competence to design and implement people management processes compatible with the creation of sustainable working environments.
