(i) a degree in any subject equivalent to a UK Bachelor’s degree (2:2 or above), or
(ii) at least 2 years experience in employment, which would normally be of a technical nature, comparable with the award of a bachelor’s degree.

Fees and funding
The tuition fee is fully inclusive of all costs: teaching materials, core textbooks, assessments and resits. If you live in England, you may be eligible for a postgraduate loan to cover some of the programme cost. If you are not eligible for a student loan, you will be offered a simple monthly payment plan to spread the cost of your tuition over the duration of your studies.
- A UK Scholarship of 20% is available for students residing in the United Kingdom, who enrol on the August and October 2025 intakes of our full master’s awards.
- An Executive Scholarship of 15% is available for our August and October 2025 intakes.
- 10% discount for University of Liverpool alumni.
- You will receive a 5% discount if you choose to pay the full tuition fee upfront.
Please note that scholarships cannot be combined. However, it is possible for students to combine discounts or use them with scholarships depending on eligibility.

To achieve a full master’s degree, you will be required to complete 180 credits. This programme is also available as a postgraduate certificate (PG Cert) which amounts to 60 credits and a postgraduate diploma (PG Dip) which amounts to 120 credits. Students who complete the PG Cert and PG Dip will have the opportunity to progress to a full master’s degree.
