Entry requirements
This course is offered under five admission rules, each with its own Course Structure (Program of Study).
Rule A: You have completed ONE of the following qualifications (or their overseas equivalents) in any discipline:*
- Bachelor (AQF Level 7)
- Bachelor with Honours (AQF Level 8)
- Graduate Certificate (AQF Level 8)
- Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8)
- Masters (AQF Level 9)
- Doctorate (AQF Level 10)
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule A. Please see the Rule A Course Structure (Program of Study).
Rule B: You have completed a Bachelor qualification (AQF Level 7 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline.*
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule B. Please see the Rule B Course Structure (Program of Study).
Rule C: You have completed a Graduate Certificate (AQF Level 8 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline.*
If you are admitted on this basis, you will be eligible for admission under Rule C. Please see the Rule C Course Structure (Program of Study).
Rule E: You have completed one of the following qualifications (or their overseas equivalents) in a relevant discipline:*
Graduate Diploma (AQF Level 8)
Masters (AQF Level 9)

What makes our course different?
We offer a variety of entry pathways into the MBA (International). You do not need to have professional experience to be admitted into this course. If you have a bachelor degree in an unrelated area you can obtain this qualification by completing 16 units over two years of full-time study. If you have a bachelor degree in a relevant area you can complete the course by studying 12 units.
Our full-time course meets the visa requirements of international students who wish to study in Australia. However, you may also choose to study part-time or full-time, online from your home country. Key units include accounting, finance, economics, ethics, international business, management and strategic planning, which underpin contemporary business operations in public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
By completing the MBA (International), you will add to your existing expertise in areas such as decision making, ethics, and management, allowing you to become a more effective leader in any global setting. You will have opportunities to:
- Extend your qualifications beyond the undergraduate level, equipping you with advanced business and leadership skills and broadening your career options.
- Study on campus in Armidale in regional NSW, or study online. If you are an international student you also have the option to study at our UNE Sydney Campus, centrally located in Parramatta.
- Apply your knowledge and experience to the real world, allowing you to gain additional practical experience and integrate your thinking to become a more effective and adaptable manager
- Learn from internationally recognised academics who have a strong track record in research and a wealth of experience in business and industry.

- Exit the course with a Graduate Certificate in Business if you choose not to complete the MBA and have completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate.
