We offer PhD supervision in a wide range of disciplines within the area of Hispanic and Latin American Studies. Our specialisms include (but are not limited to):

  • Literature and culture in Spain and Spanish America from the 16th century to the present day
  • History of Latin America (especially Cuba)
  • Intellectual history of Spain and Latin America
  • Visual culture of Spain and Spanish America (cinema and painting)
