Course content
The production of food is achieved through agricultural systems. This primarily includes crops and livestock, raw materials and bioenergy.
There is increasing need for more sustainable agricultural systems. This is to help tackle global challenges such as:
- biodiversity protection
- environmental damage
- animal welfare
- livestock diseases
- climate change
Using management science, modelling and statistical approaches, we aim to:
- improve our knowledge of how agricultural systems work
- understand and predict the impact of change on these systems
