2:1 (or international equivalent) in a related arts, humanities or social science subject. A writing sample is required.
Months of entry
The defining feature of the MA in Creative Writing is the particular close attention it gives to the details of the writing process. The teaching goes beyond a simple textbook approach to writing technique and encourages students to take a strategic approach to producing successful work. This involves examining their writing in the contexts of: how their writing is informed by reading; what they see as their long- and short-term aims for their writing; how the publishing industry works; their relations with other writers, particularly their peers on the course.
