Urbanism and Sustainable Environments
Entry requirements
- Course Requirements: 2:1 level or above (or international equivalent) in an appropriate subject. For mainland Chinese applicants, the minimum average score is 80 if you graduate from a domestic university of Project 985, 211 or double first-rate. The minimum average score is 85 if otherwise.
- Relevant disciplines include Urban Planning/Design, Urban Studies, Architecture, Architectural Environmental Engineering, Landscape Design, Environmental Studies and closely related degrees.
- English Language Requirements: IELTS score of at least 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.5 in individual elements.

Course content
The course is studied over one academic year of 12 months. 60 credits of modules are studied in the autumn, and 60 credits of modules are studied in the spring semester. A research project is undertaken in the summer semester, also worth 60 credits.
The programme is 12 months over three semesters (full-time). The student is required to take 180 credits (60 credits per semester) over 12 months if full-time or 24 months if part-time.
