Minimum 2:1 undergraduate honours degree in a relevant subject.
Subject requirements
We accept degrees in the following subject areas:
- Landscape Architecture
- Built Environment, including Urban Design, Architecture, Engineering subjects, and Planning
- Geography and Environmental Sciences
- Biosciences, including Biology, Ecology and Forestry
We may also consider related degree titles.

Course content
Study at Sheffield's School of Architecture and Landscape and develop advanced skills with our one-year, intensive masters in landscape design, planning and management.
Course description
This research-led, one-year course focuses on developing academic knowledge related to advanced landscape specialisms. It's aimed at students who already have a relevant academic or professional background.
You’ll explore different aspects of the discipline, learn advanced academic and professional skills, and write a dissertation on a landscape topic that matters to you. Our end-of-year exhibition and close industry links give you opportunities to present your work to prospective employers.
