Entry requirements
Entry to the MSc Respiratory Medicine programme will require the successful completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in Respiratory Medicine (120 credits) either from the University of South Wales or from another UK University. Alternatively, students may apply for the MSc as a two year course, completing all 8 modules (180 credits).

Respiratory medicine is an increasingly important field of medicine, as respiratory disease is a growing cause of morbidity and mortality. The MSc Respiratory Medicine is an online course, run with our collaborative partner Diploma MSc. It allows you to explore and study the major classes of respiratory disease, conduct research in respiratory medicine and have a direct opportunity to improve patient care.
Both the Postgraduate Diploma and MSc courses are aimed at Doctors, GPs, Allied Health Professionals, Practice Nurses or equivalent professional qualifications and background experience. Completion of the MSc Respiratory Medicine course will enhance private practice and will help career progression.
Information for international students
Proficiency in the English Language is also essential to completing our courses. If English is NOT your first language, we ask for proof of competency during the application process. We are able to accept an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 for each band) or an equivalent qualification.
