About this course
This is a specialised pathway within the MA Cultural Heritage Studies program with a particular focus on the arts and creative communication. It aims to develop your specialist practical skills in communicating heritage in various artistic and creative genres and platforms, including publishing, broadcasting, heritage management, and arts curation. The pathway explores both land-based and maritime heritage, covering diverse forms such as film and literature, the built environment, and archaeological remains. We're ranked 7th for archaeology and 3rd for research quality in the UK (Complete University Guide 2026).
