Entry requirements
Upper second class honours degree (2:1 or equivalent) in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences or a related subject. Those candidates with relevant employment experience will be considered if they do not meet the requirements. Applications are assessed individually, and any candidates who do not match the standard profile but who have appropriate academic qualifications and/or industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Course content
This course is ideal if you are an engineering, mathematics or physical science graduate who wants to be challenged academically. You'll be exposed to modern issues in advanced mechanical engineering science and specialise in computational engineering and design. We'll teach you the latest techniques, methods and simulation software. This will give you accurate insights into how innovative design ideas will work in practice and how to apply them effectively with industry.
Information for international students
All applicants must demonstrate they possess at least a minimum standard of English language proficiency:
Band B, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
