Entry requirements

A UK bachelor’s degree with upper second-class honours or higher and usually a master’s degree (typically at merit or higher) in a relevant subject. See international equivalent qualifications on our website.

Course content

Join one of the largest archaeology research programmes in the UK. Students from all over the world study a wide range of archaeological topics in an intellectually stimulating environment. You'll work alongside renowned scholars in the field.

Information for international students

If English is not your first language, you will need to demonstrate your English meets our Band E: For IELTS, this is 6.5 overall, with minimum 6.5 in all components. For information on other accepted English language tests, please see the website.
