Entry requirements
Minimum second-class Honours degree, or overseas equivalent in a non-business or management-related subject.
The MSc Business and Management is primarily designed for those with non-business-related degrees and is not suitable for those with general business degrees such as BA/BSc Business Studies or Bachelors in Commerce.

The MSc Business & Management (MBM) draws together the best that Strathclyde Business School has to offer. By combining the School’s research expertise with its understanding of personal and professional development, the MBM provides a springboard for those looking to pursue careers in management, in business analysis, in consultancy, or even in starting a business.
It is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) as a Pre-Experience Masters in Management. As a result, you can be sure the course will develop the business acumen you need to operate effectively across different industries and operating environments.
The mission of the MBM instils in you the personal qualities and critical thinking skills that will see you emerge as a self-directed learner, capable of dealing with the ambiguous and complex task of managing.

Information for international students
Students whose first language is not English must have a minimum of 6.5 IELTS score, with no individual score lower than 5.5.
Pre-Masters preparation course
The Pre-Masters Programme is a preparation course held at the University of Strathclyde International Study Centre, for international students (non-UK/Ireland) who do not meet the academic entry requirements for a Masters degree at University of Strathclyde.
Upon successful completion, you'll be able to progress to your chosen degree course at the University of Strathclyde.
Please note: Previous Maths & English qualifications and your undergraduate degree must meet GTCS minimum entry requirements as well as the pre-Masters course and an interview will be conducted before an offer can be made.
