Course content

Research of contemporary issues, textile skills development and material investigation will be fundamental to your progress. Your individual practice will be developed through an engagement with critical and theoretical dialogue. You will be supported by lectures, seminars and tutorials with specialist staff and leading professionals within the field. We have an exceptional range of traditional and digital equipment and facilities, housed in spacious and purpose built workshops. Through these we encourage creative freedom, and facilitate new technological advances across a broad range of the art, craft and design of textiles

• Construction techniques in hand and machine knitting
