Why the University of West London

West London building

There are many reasons why the University of West London should be top of your list for postgraduate study. Over a three year period, the University embarked on a £50 million plus redevelopment project, known as Future Campus, to enhance students’ social and learning experience, thereby maintaining our position as a leading modern University in London. Our superb new facilities include: a library, a new student radio station and centre, an auditorium, a refurbished Students’ Union, music studios, and restaurants and cafes.

A generous grant from the Savoy Educational Trust allowed us to develop our state-of-the-art teaching and learning centre, the Savoy Suite. Designed exclusively for postgraduate students, the suite is equipped with computers, video conferencing technology, a theatre for lectures and presentations, a multi-functional space for group work and seminars, and a breakout area for socialising and relaxing between study sessions.

A great range of courses

We design all of our courses to meet our students' needs, balancing both academic knowledge and the practical skills valued by employers.

Our exciting range of postgraduate courses provides opportunities for advanced study that are both academically challenging and professionally relevant. Excellent facilities for postgraduate students

At the University of West London, we're continually improving and adding to our excellent modern teaching resources and facilities.

Savoy Suite

Our Savoy Suite has been made possible by a grant from the Savoy Education Trust and has enhanced our standing within the business community significantly. It provides an excellent student experience with a hub that further strengthens our connections with local businesses.

Mock Court Room

Ealing Law School’s new Mock Court Room was officially opened in February 2015 by Lord Finkelstein OBE, political commentator and Associate Editor of The Times. It provides realistic surroundings for students to practice mooting, where students can gain experience of presenting legal issues. The room will also be used for legal training, teaching and events.

The Richard Wells Research Centre

The Richard Wells Research Centre is the only research centre of its kind in the higher education sector. It was established to develop research and education initiatives that support people with HIV. The Centre also tackles prevention and care issues associated with other infectious diseases and infections and works closely with the Department of Health.
