Entry requirements
A Undergraduate Honours Degree (2:2 or above) from a UK university or overseas equivalent, or a professional qualification and/or experience considered to be equivalent to the above.
A reference from a tutor who has supervised the applicant’s undergraduate studies
Students may apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) subject to the guidelines set out in the RPL Handbook. RPL includes accreditation of prior certificated learning and /or accreditation of prior experiential learning.
Applications are also welcome from individuals who do not possess the above qualifications but who have significant management experience and are able to demonstrate previous non-certificated learning equivalent to the above. In such cases, admission to the programme will be based on an evaluation of the applicant’s ability to continue to benefit from and achieve the award.

Course content
This MSc in Business Analytics aims to prepare students to take a leading role in the areas of business analytics and business management. This practical and practice-based programme equips students with the agile, reflexive and critical thinking skills which are vital for success in modern organisations. The programme is based around the two core themes of data analytics and business management.
This course has high-quality blended learning support and access to excellent learning facilities. Students will be able to use prior experience and certificated learning to gain credits against the programme.
Entrepreneurship and reflexive thinking skills are at the heart of this general business management programme. The course is designed to allow students to develop an awareness of modern business practices through practical activities. These activities equip students with an holistic understanding of the impact of data, business intelligence, and business analytics-related issues on organisational business operations, management, and strategy.

English Language requirements are normally IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each area (unless otherwise stated) or equivalent accepted qualification.
