Entry requirements

Either: a first or second-class Honours Degree in a relevant, cognate discipline; or professional qualifications in an appropriate area; or relevant practical experience Knowledge of fundamental human anatomy, physiology and biochemistry is expected An access course is available for those with a higher education qualification that does not meet the entry requirements.

Course content

This flexible taught programme will develop the knowledge and skills needed to practice as a Nutritional Therapist or to work in the field of applied nutrition. Current research is proving that without a doubt good nutrition is fundamental to health.

Students on this innovative Nutritional Therapy course will develop high-quality theoretical and practical skills that will enable them to provide nutritional, nutraceutical and lifestyle advice using an evidence based approach.
