About UWE Bristol

UWE Bristol is one of the UK’s most popular universities. In fact, over 29,000 students study here and at overseas partner universities. Fantastic facilities

We have recently invested £300 million into our accommodation, equipment and technology. We’re always looking to the future, and many of our practice-oriented spaces offer just what you need to succeed. From nursing simulation suites to multi-media broadcast studios and a financial trading room, these spaces are a fantastic environment in which to learn and develop. As well as these course-specific facilities you’ll have access to the 24 hour library, our 24 hour IT labs, the centre for sport and many other facilities.

Our campuses

We have three campuses, each offering excellent facilities including cafes, learning zones, libraries and shops.

Frenchay Campus
Our main campus, and just four miles outside the city centre (just 15 minutes by Metrobus). It’s home to our £55 million, world-class Bristol Business School, and the £16.5 million West of England University Enterprise Zone (UEZ), the place where high tech-business and graduates connect and is one of only four in the country.

City Campus
Home to UWE Bristol’s creative and cultural industry courses. Spanning the city, it incorporates Bower Ashton and Spike Island, as well as studio spaces above the Arnolfini and Watershed.


Glenside Campus
Located in the Fishponds area of the city. It’s home to most of our allied health, nursing and midwifery students.
