Graduate Programme

Job description

At Halo you’ll play a pivotal role in our success from day one, gaining experience across the business depending on your goals and strengths. You’ll receive full training, regular 1-to-1s with your designated mentor, and strong salary increases based on your performance.

All graduates start out in a Support Technician role while you learn the ropes and build deep product knowledge. From there, you’ll have the chance to explore and progress into a range of areas including Sales, Consultancy, Partner Enablement, and our growing DevOps and Cyber Security functions.

While you may start in one area, the opportunity to move internally is huge, giving you the flexibility to develop your career in the direction that suits you best, under a permanent contract.

But what’s in it for you?

  • £30,000 starting salary (with potential to rise to £40,000 within your first year)
  • Opportunities to travel the world to attend trade shows and visit our global customers
  • Regular team socials and events (including visits to our partner, Ipswich Town FC)
  • Having a direct input into our culture, perks and policies

What we are looking for

We’re not worried about relevant experience, we’re looking for the attributes that can’t be taught. If you have the attitude and aptitude, we can teach you what you need to excel at Halo!
  • A solution-oriented problem-solver – you thrive in the face of a challenge, and are great at using your initiative
  • A great communicator – you’ll have no problem making sense of complex ideas and conveying them to others in a way that is easy to understand
  • A positive and proactive mindset – you’re keen to jump straight in, be adaptable, and learn on the job
  • Graduated within the last couple of years, or in the next couple of years
  • Based in East Anglia or happy to relocate

Desired skills and experience

  • A bachelor's degree with a 2:1 or above (we welcome applicants from any disciplines that demonstrates business acumen, technical proficiency, and the ability to problem solve)
  • Strong A-level grades (ideally BBB and above)
  • Fundamental IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • The unrestricted right to live and work in the UK by the commencement of employment
  • We are looking to expand into the European and South American markets, so German/French/Spanish/Italian/Portuguese speakers are a bonus, but not a necessity.
