With the economic environment always changing and developing, our Management and International Business MSc trains you to become an adaptable, flexible and versatile manager. You’ll develop skills in communication, strategy and business, and you’ll examine internationally orientated organisations and devise plans for them to stay relevant.
Professional accreditation from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) ensures our course is fresh and relevant, and our past graduates have gone to work with established companies including Lloyds Business Group. What's covered in the course
Our Management and International Business course provides the opportunity to combine the theory and practice of management with the completion of an in-depth dissertation on international business. You’ll become adept at strategic tactical business decisions, understanding cultural differences, and managing and motivating staff on an international scale.
The course will provide you with the skills employers really value, so it is the perfect option if you want to change career direction or move up the corporate ladder. Previous graduates have secured jobs as personal bankers, project officers and event invest managers, for companies including G4S and Explicit Empire Entertainment.
We examine strategic and tactical business decisions throughout international business, while appreciating the complexity and dynamics of management. This will see you broaden your skills in organisation, communication and working with others, particularly within a diverse cultural background.
Assessing the task of management in today’s international business environment, our course closely examines theories of cultural difference and the application of effective management practices to different cultural contexts.
If you’re considering studying the MSc Management and International Business pathway, you have the option to study it for either 12, 15 or 18 months. The 12-month course starts in September, with the 15-month course starting in January. The 18-month pathway has different eligibility criteria, and is only open to those who got a pass or third at undergraduate level.
