Course content
Our Business Analytics MSc course aims to teach you to interpret data, uncover new patterns and relationships, make predictions, and drive informed, smart business decisions.
Throughout this course, you should learn to:
- develop qualitative, quantitative and data mining skills to solve business problems, as well as data visualisation skills using appropriate software and programming language
- learn to generate value from big data
- apply theory to practical situations through case studies and projects from industry.

External project consultancy opportunities: there will be opportunities to engage with external consultancy projects with a real client or undertake an individual academic research dissertation.
Accreditation and professional recognition
The module People, Relationships and Leadership in Practice meets the criteria set by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) for the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice. Students who successfully pass this module will be eligible to gain the award as an additional qualification at no additional cost.
