Course content
Launched in 2020 by Cranfield University in partnership with CAA International*, this course provides in-depth technical knowledge and practical insight into aviation safety. It is designed for safety professionals and regulators seeking to deepen their expertise in areas such as risk and safety management, risk-based regulation, and aviation law.
Professionals working across the aerospace and commercial air transport sectors, as well as within regulatory bodies, are increasingly expected to understand and respond to both established and emerging safety challenges. These challenges span the entire lifecycle of aviation systems, from design and production to operation and maintenance.
This course equips students with the knowledge and tools to make informed, data-driven risk management decisions, helping to support safer and more efficient operations across the aviation industry.
