Entry requirements

UK Honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in electronic or electrical engineering (or related subject). Applicants with appropriate professional experience may be considered; equivalence to an Honours degree may be demonstrated through the University’s procedures for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Course content

The programme aims to enable graduates to qualify for entry into the profession of electrical and electronic engineering with a bias towards energy engineering and renewable technologies. In addition to the high level knowledge and understanding of electrical and electronic engineering, there will also be the opportunity for students to gain an integrated understanding of power systems, instrumentation systems, telecommunication systems and technologies, and business, reinforced with personal and inter-personal skills.

IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) If you do not meet the academic requirements, you may be eligible for the International Graduate Diploma programme. Successful completion of this INTO course means guaranteed conditional offer of a place on the degree programme at Glasgow Caledonian University.
