Entry requirements

This programme is for innovative graduates from quantitative backgrounds who want to develop advanced skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning to grow their careers in technology.

To apply, you must hold either:

  • A BSc degree with a 2:1 in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or other relevant quantitative subject, or
  • A BSc degree with a 2:2 in a quantitative subject and at least two years of relevant professional experience.

Programme Structure

The online Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning MSc/PGDip/PGCert features a career-centred curriculum that empowers students to transform ideas into solutions through practical projects and industry-focused training. In this flexible programme, students can take breaks when needed and choose the exit pathway that best suits them:

  • Full masters (180 credits), 24 months
  • Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits), 15 months
  • Postgraduate Certificate (60 credits), 8 months

Information for international students

If English is not your first language, you will need to supply an up-to-date English language test certificate. We accept IELTS certificates with an overall score of 6.5 and no less than 6.0 in any band. Alternative test certificates are also accepted, and exemptions can be made. Fees and funding
