Entry requirements

Our minimum requirement is a 2.1 degree in a relevant discipline such as medicine, health sciences, social sciences, physical sciences, engineering, informatics. You are also required to have a well-researched career plan with clear short and long term goals.

All candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to the College.

Course content

Our MSc in International Health Management is a one-year, full-time programme that equips you with the essential skills needed to pursue a career in the global healthcare sector.

You will learn from internationally recognised faculty at the forefront of health management research and will gain an overview of the UK health system and its application in a global context. Students of this course are a mix of recent graduates and experienced healthcare professionals from across the world, giving you a truly international perspective.

The programme content reflects the contemporary and relevant management skills necessary for managing in turbulent environments and complex health systems, both in developing and developed countries.

There is a careful balance of teaching and learning, individual and group work. Case study methodology and class-based discussions are used to strengthen the conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills of the participants in real situations. There are also regular seminars by external expert speakers.
