Programme specific requirements
A dental qualification acceptable to King's with employment as a dentist in a dental practice, dental school, hospital, or community dental services environment.
Access to facilities and equipment - students are required to have:
- Access to adequate clinical facilities and to patients requiring treatment relevant to the subject area.
- Approved photography equipment, as part of the monitoring process (advice on this will be given in the first face-to-face teaching block).

Course content
Our Endodontics MSc is designed to give you the skills to successfully and confidently manage more complex and demanding endodontic cases. We will provide the latest evidence-based knowledge in endodontology enabling you to successfully integrate endodontic therapy with other aspects of restorative dentistry, and learn research methodology.
This course is mostly delivered online, so you can study anywhere in the world with minimum disruption to your professional and personal life while benefiting from world-class teaching.

Course essentials
You will study the scientific basis of endodontology, diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with complex endodontic problems, and clinical treatment of patients with endodontic and other restorative problems. You will also study and develop research methodology skills to enable you to undertake a research project and further your expertise. We will train you with the latest evidence-based knowledge in endodontology and enable you to successfully integrate endodontic therapy with the other aspects of restorative dentistry.
Delivered primarily online, the course also provides 14 days of intensive face-to-face teaching and practical training in London in the first 2 years. Our expert tutors will give you guidance on complex dental procedures at our specialist postgraduate teaching centre, LonDEC, which offers state-of-the-art simulation and digital training facilities. The face-to-face component takes place for seven consecutive days in Year 1 and seven consecutive days in Year 2. These training blocks are an invaluable way to consolidate learning and progress through to the final year.
