Entry requirements

With the exception of GCSEs, all academic qualifications must be completed within a five year period including year of application. Course content

This course has been specifically designed to develop qualified practitioners who are proactive, flexible and able to meet the changing needs of health and social care.

This course is suited to graduates of health and life science disciplines with a desire to pursue a career in Physiotherapy. Students on this course will undertake learning via a variety of methods in order to become practitioners who are proactive, flexible and able to meet the changing needs of health and social care. Graduates of this MSc programme are critical thinkers and independent learners with problem-solving skills. Teaching and learning methods include classroom-based learning, simulated practical exercises, self-directed learning and practice placements, which are undertaken in a variety of healthcare environments including acute NHS hospital trusts, community-based services, mental health trusts and private hospitals.

Ensure that the qualification is translated into English (if not already in English), by a certified translator.

Fees and funding

2018 entry UK/EU: We are currently waiting for Health Education England to confirm NHS bursaries for tuition fees and maintenance for new students starting a pre-registration postgraduate course in September 2018.ce for new students starting a pre-registration postgraduate course in September 2018.

2018 entry Non-EU (International): £15,400 per annum

Fees are reviewed on an annual basis for each year of entry.
