A recognised undergraduate degree in veterinary science, biological science, Mathematics or Statistics together with postgraduate experience.
Months of entry
This course provides students with an understanding of the conceptual basis of epidemiology and training in methodological skills essential for the conduct of epidemiological studies in animal populations. The School has long attracted veterinary scientists to train in epidemiology. Other courses do not address all the topics of importance to veterinary scientists, practitioners or other animal health specialists. This course addresses this gap by drawing on School strengths in communicable diseases epidemiology, and epidemiological methodologies, in conjunction with the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and the Veterinary Laboratories Agency (VLA) in all aspects of animal populations and health.
