LSJS tries to be flexible to support a range of candidates that might want to take the degree course. We are looking for candidates who possess a mix of qualifications, school experience, subject knowledge or exam grades that will support success in the degree programme.

Course content

The BA (Hons) Jewish Education will enable you to develop a systematic understanding of key aspects of Education Studies in the context of Jewish schools’. It will encourage you to develop your creativity, commitment and enthusiasm for innovative Jewish Studies pedagogy and help you make a significant contribution to Jewish schools.

The course is structured part-time over 4 years. Students who register for distance learning will primarily study in their own time, using the carefully curated resources provided on our virtual learning environment (www.moodle.lsjs.ac.uk) and will also participate in several live webinars for each module. Students who register to study on campus will attend weekly lectures.
