Course content
The MSc in Engineering Management prepares graduates for roles in the management of engineering projects within data driven environments. The industrial facing nature of the programme is suited for students who wish to complement their technical knowledge with business expertise.
The programme delivers a core base of modules to equip students with an understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship; industrial digital technologies; principles of project management; project finance and sustainable product design. The suite of modules within the programme have been developed in collaboration with industry to satisfy industrial demand.
During the programme you will develop research and analytical skills to assist in the understanding of complex business problems. In addition, you will gain insight into the methodologies for problem solving and informed decision-making skills.
The elective modules within the programme allow you to tailor deeper technical understanding within pathways of sustainability and digitalisation. A key focus of the MSc in Engineering Management is the development of the understanding of digital requirements to enhance productivity with new business models applied within national and international markets.
