The provision of a vibrant and engaged postgraduate research culture is an absolute priority for the Institute for Sport Business. The major research problem that the Institute is seeking to address is what impacts the hyper-commodification of sport has on society. In addressing this problem the Institute is committed to retaining a focus on the three key impact areas;

  1. Sport Integrity and governance
  2. Sport media digital technologies
  3. Sport and communities

In furthering this focus the Institute has an important geographical location in London with outstanding links with government and industry that strengthen its research opportunities.

Loughborough University London is offering 25 studentships to fund research projects in design, enterprise, sport business, media and creative industries, and digital technologies.
