Course content

This course is a unique dual award degree. It provides you with the opportunity to engage with the study of operations management. You will explore different business environments and cultural contexts.
You have the opportunity to study at Newcastle University and the University of Groningen. You study different cultural contexts and business environments. You will apply the knowledge and understanding that you develop to:
  • improve business performance
  • develop operations strategies
  • organise competitive advantages in technology-intensive industries
This will enhance your employability for operations management roles within international and multinational companies.
You will learn how to:
  • analyse operations functions in different countries
  • understand various institutional environments
  • develop a sharp eye for operations management within multinational enterprises

To study this course you need to meet the following English Language requirements: Direct Entry : IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in all sub-skills). Pre-sessional English Language courses are not accepted as an alternative entry to this course.
