A 2:1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a relevant subject. However, combinations of the following can be taken into consideration:

  • undergraduate qualifications
  • masters qualifications
  • relevant work experience

Our research has significant relevance in non-academic settings. We often apply it through consultancy to industry. This includes:

  • the global offshore industry
  • local authorities
  • engineering and surveying companies.

We are a key part of the TSB Satellite Applications Catapult North East Centre of Excellence.

English Language Requirements.

Direct Entry: IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills). If you have lower English Language scores, you may be accepted onto a Pre-sessional English Language course.
