Course content

The MA programme is designed for experienced teachers of English as a second or foreign language in the UK or internationally. The MA draws upon an extensive range of staff expertise and also upon the professional experience which students bring to their studies. The programme can also serve as an introduction to work at PhD level.

Information for international students

Students whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum score in each component of 5.5. Pearson Academic score of 62 (or above) with a minimum score in each component of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of 51
