Course content

Can you visualise how to manage a luxury brand, taking into consideration contemporary issues around production, distribution and consumption? Could you adapt a creative approach, and innovate within the field of professional luxury brand management?

Are you passionate about the worth of the luxury consumable goods market; cars, cosmetics, drinks, fashion, fragrances, handbags, jewellery, luggage, yachts and watches? Our Luxury Brand Management master’s course will provide you with critical knowledge and awareness of the complex issues involved in the luxury consumable goods sector. You will work on concepts such as brand management, marketing, advertising and social media.

You will learn through research-informed teaching and learning. You will be educated on the circular economy and what it means for the production, distribution and consumption of luxury goods. You will broaden your perspective through the consideration of ethics, corporate social responsibility, enterprise and leadership. By learning to consider these elements of luxury brand management you will be prepared with the skills to take on both creative and management roles in the luxury goods industry.

Working on a live project could offer you exciting, hands-on experience within a luxury brand role. Exploring real briefs can help you gain the hands-on practical insight and knowledge that employers are looking for, and give you a fantastic opportunity to stand out in a very competitive jobs market.

Assessment is based on coursework. This includes presentations, portfolios, reports and case studies, giving you multiple methods to show your understanding of the course material.

If you would prefer a more in depth course of study, the MA Luxury Brand Management is available with Advanced Practice which includes either an internship, consultancy project or research project.

*Please note* This course is only offered at our London and Amsterdam campuses.
