This Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship is for aspiring and substantive senior leaders and managers within public service organisations who want to make a difference through public service.

Students will draw on their knowledge and experience; engage in discussion and debate on issues and themes of contemporary leadership and management practice in public service organisations and partnerships. During the programme, there is particular emphasis on individual and organisational development and processes and relationships within and between organisations.

Throughout the programme, apprentices will develop their ability to critically analyse behaviour and actions within their organisations; problem solve, plan and employ critical judgement through careful consideration of current and future management and organisational challenges.

On joining the course apprentices become an ‘Affiliate’ member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) for the full duration of the programme and have access to a range of membership support and benefits.
